Camping in Alaska can be considered cold weather camping any time of the year. The weather changes quickly and you need to be prepared.

To make Alaska winter adventurers more enjoyable you will need to make sure you are able to stay warm. Keep warm in the wintertime months with warm clothes, thermal underwear, and woolen mitts and warm wool socks. It’s a great idea to pack a thermal hat and hand warmers.
